Modo is a locally owned, member-run car share co-operative that offers two-way trips, meaning you park the car where you picked it up at the end of your booking.

  • Rates include: fuel, insurance, and permitted parking.
  • UBCO location: Discovery Avenue, near the entrance to the Upper Cascades Residences.
  • Fleet access: Modo members can book vehicles at nearly 20 locations around Kelowna, with 600+ more cars, SUVs, trucks and vans in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island.

Book a vehicle up to a year in advance, complete your trip, and return it to its home location when you’re done. You’ll only pay for the time and distance you travel—no insurance, no maintenance, just a car when you need it.

  • Modo Plus offers the lowest rates, no monthly fees, and co-op ownership benefits.
  • Modo Monthly offers full access to the Modo fleet with a small monthly fee instead of a share purchase and rates are slightly higher.
